There is a wisdom that lives in the womb. It is a wisdom most women have forgotten, because we were taught to stop listening. We were taught to live from logic, to think our way through life, to override our intuition, to silence our inner voice, and to distrust the very place where our deepest wisdom lives.
For years, I didn’t understand the power she (my womb) carried. I didn’t understand the way she held ancient wounds, ancestral patterns, and memories that didn’t begin with me. I didn’t understand that the heaviness, the intuition, the knowing, the fear, the longing, all of it lived in her.
Through my own healing, I realised just how much she holds. I have healed so many emotions through the womb, for example, other people’s projections, ancestral wounds, relationship patterns, mother wounds, childhood wounds. It wasn’t just the womb space, but also the cervix which is the doorway she holds to your true path, to your sexual energy. Once cleared and healed, both the womb and cervix become potent guides.
Through my own journey, I have experienced unexplained teeth issues that were not able to be explained medically. This pushed me into the direction of going inward. When I started to work with my womb, I also began to notice a link between the womb, the reproductive area, the pelvic bowl, and my teeth and mouth. When I would do healing through my womb and cervix, I would notice shifts in my teeth and mouth. There is very little written on it, but there is some evidence a connection is there. I also learned that most women hold anger in the pelvic bowl, anger that was never expressed but instead suppressed.
It’s unfortunate that we are often taught that the womb is just a physical space, but she isn’t. She is a map, a compass, a guide, a voice. She carries the stories of the women who came before us. She carries the patterns we inherited.
She carries the wounds we absorbed. She carries the wisdom we forgot we had.
And as these layers heal, through embodiment, through presence, through listening, she speaks. You can clearly hear her voice; how it’s presented to you would be unique to you. It might be intuitive words, thoughts, sensations, images, memories, anything really, a quiet, grounded knowing that rises from deep within the body.
But when the womb is integrated, when she is no longer carrying unprocessed pain, a profound shift happens. I have for sure noticed thinking and over‑analysis quietens. The fear loosens its grip. It feels like being guided. It feels like being led. It feels like a navigation system turning back on.
The other day, I heard her clearly. I was ovulating, a time I never understood until now, and I felt the potency of it. The pulsating. The creative power. And she said, simply: “Create with me.”
The womb holds the lost wisdom of creation, for creating life, but also for ideas, paths, choices, relationships, and the way we move through the world. Especially around ovulation, this potency is heightened. When she is healed, she becomes a guide. When she is listened to, she becomes a compass. When she is honoured, she becomes a source of truth. And when a woman remembers how to hear her, we start to remember our ancient wisdom.
I invite you to start bringing gentle awareness to her. Maybe place a hand on your womb, how does she feel? Can you hear her voice?
