My work is multilayered and intuitive.
I draw on 15.5 years of experience (since 2010) in mental health. I work integratively, drawing on trauma‑informed, somatic, compassionate and energy‑based practices and work with fragmented parts through the lens of Carl Jung’s individuation process. You can read more about fragmented parts and the modalities I use in the modalities I draw from section.
In a session, we work together, my intuition and your inner process guide each session. What needs to come to the surface to be transformed unfolds naturally, as you feel safe, heard and deeply met. I often begin receiving intuitive information about the next healing layer/step in healing or often the core wound or root cause beneath the presenting issue, and together we follow this thread at your pace.
My intuition is often felt as sensations in my body, or I see images or hear intuitive messages. I have learnt to trust and refine over the last eleven years. This allows me to work multidimensionally, meaning the root of what you’re experiencing may be connected to childhood patterns, ancestral wounds, or other timelines.
It is really important to me to create a safe, grounded space and I always honour your pace and trust that what your deeper part within you is ready to resolve will naturally be shown in session.
At its core, how I work weaves together:
somantic healing
trauma healing
intuitive guidance
energy healing
soul healing
inner‑masculine & inner‑feminine healing and integration

Modalities I Draw From
A brief explanation of the approaches that inform my work.
Focusing & Inner‑Relationship Focusing
Focusing is a gentle way of listening to the body’s felt sense. Inner- relationship focusing is building a compassionate relationship with inner parts of ourselves we have disconnected from. These are often referred to as fragmented parts. Fragmented parts often show up as inner conflict — one part wanting something, another resisting. Often times we may have several fragmented parts pulling us in different directions.
Most of us were never taught how to be with our emotions or thoughts. We either suppress them or drown in them. Through somatic work and working directly with the nervous system, you can start to understand emotions as sensations in the body, build tolerance, and listen to the underlying messages underneath these sensations so integration can occur.
In focussing, we slow down and meet the difficult emotion from within. When the underlying emotion, memory, or unmet need is heard, the difficult emotion naturally loses its charge — meaning you don’t have to force yourself into situations you aren’t ready for.
For example, if you struggle to stand up for yourself or set boundaries, we would explore what happens in your body the moment you imagine saying no. You might notice a tightness in the throat or chest, and as we stay with that sensation, a emotion, belief or even a younger part of you may emerge — perhaps a part that learnt early on that speaking up led to conflict, rejection, or being dismissed.
Through somatic focusing, we gently meet that part, listen to what it’s protecting, and understand the unmet need underneath. As that part feels heard and the body begins to feel safer, the fear softens. You don’t have to force yourself into boundary‑setting; it becomes more natural because the internal conflict has resolved.
Hakomi
Hakomi is a mindfulness‑based somatic psychotherapy that helps you process trauma and understand yourself on a deeper, more embodied level so that lasting transformation can occur.
The word Hakomi comes from Hopi traditions and originally means “How you stand in relation to many realms.” In modern translation, it’s often understood as “Who are you?” — explored through:
• the choices you’ve made
• the beliefs you hold
• the experiences that have shaped you
• how all this lives in your body
• how you make sense of the world.
Transformation requires that you feel safe, heard, and deeply met. Without safety, deeper aspects of the unconscious cannot be accessed and therefore a core element of Hakomi is the therapist’s loving, compassionate presence.
In Hakomi, the body and mind are seen as deeply connected, beliefs and emotions often appear physically.
For example, if you don’t feel safe, you may tighten or contract in your body. By being guided to slow down, turn inward, memories, sensations, and emotions begin to surface, by tracking these subtle signals with curiosity, you start to understand and notice what is missing, what is needed, what is longed for so this can now be met. For example, the new experience may be feeling what safety feels like in your body or it may be the experience of the therapist’s presence that supports you in feeling safe. As this integrates, changes naturally happen within the body and nervous system and new beliefs and new behaviours naturally emerge.
When I work within Hakomi principles, my role is to support you come into alignment with your life and your inner wisdom. Rather than fighting or suppressing parts of yourself, we bring gentle curiosity to them. Hakomi trusts that whatever arises is welcome; your inner process already knows what needs to unfold.
Past‑Life / Timeline Work
Often in session past lives or other timelines will naturally come up and we can explore these. However, if you would like to have a past life regression session to explore what may be affecting your current life you can book a specific session for this. This is a longer session, can take 2-3 hours. I guide you into a relaxed state with the intention of revealing the timeline most affecting your current life. We explore what arises and support the shift needed for resolution.
Occupational Therapy (OT) in Mental Health
Occupational therapy explores physical, emotional, spiritual and cognitive functioning — from daily routines to stress, overwhelm, motivation, and organisation to support you to overcome barriers to living a meaningful, independent life. My approach is creative, tailored, and deeply person‑centred.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Skills for emotional regulation, building tolerance to uncomfortable or intense emotions, grounding, and building inner stability.
Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT)
CFT helps you relate to yourself with warmth, safety, and inner kindness.
Compassion is not only about “being nice to yourself” — it’s about activating the body’s soothing system, which directly softens the threat responses that often show up as fear, anxiety, shame, or self‑criticism.
For example, instead of trying to push away anxiety or override fear, we work with compassionate practices such as self-soothe strategies, compassionate imagery, noticing how you talk to yourself to help your body feel safe enough to regulate. As the nervous system shifts out of threat and into safety, the emotional intensity naturally reduces, and you gain more capacity to meet what you’re feeling with clarity and compassion.
Recapitulation
Recapitulation is an ancient shamanic practice, from Toltec traditions, used to reclaim personal energy that’s still tied up in past events, interactions, or relationships. When a situation or a person still carries emotional charge, it often means part of your energy is still entangled with that situation or person.
Through simple yet powerful breathing & moving your head side to side, I guide you to intentionally review these past traumatic or emotionally charged memories or people. Once an event is fully recapitulated, the memory loses its emotional charge and fades or feels neutral. The energy that was tied up becomes available to you again in the present. It is a form of energy healing.
Recapitulation is described as a “shamanic alternative to psychoanalysis-based therapies” because it works with the energetic roots of trauma.
Often during recapitulation, new wisdom or awareness naturally forms, allowing behaviour and thoughts to shift as the emotional charge dissolves.
For example, I had an ongoing issue with some building repair work, and the lack of communication was triggering feelings of frustration which I felt in my throat. When I recapitulated this emotion, I saw a younger version of myself at nursery. I didn’t want to drink the milk, but I wasn’t allowed to leave and join story time until I finished it. In that moment, I wasn’t heard. My voice didn’t matter, and there was a clear power imbalance.
That early imprint of not being listened to was still active in my body, and in the present, it was being triggered again through a completely different situation. The pattern was the same: feeling unheard which I had experienced in my life many times.
This is the kind of clarity recapitulation brings.
Shamans believe that in every interaction, particularly difficult ones, we leave behind personal energy. Recapitulation retrieves this energy. Shamans often recapitulate daily to ensure their energy stays intact.
I have found this technique to be really powerful. It has been a significant practice I’ve used to release and heal trauma, to heal and release significant relationships, and I use it daily to stay clear and grounded.
Soul Retrieval
Soul retrieval is an ancient shamanic practice to re-integrate the soul parts of you that became disconnected or left behind in a situation due to trauma or overwhelm. You may feel like something is missing within you, an empty feeling, a void or a sense of weakness.
Often, when an experience is too overwhelming, a part of you may remain frozen in that situation or leave— held in fear, shock, or unfinished emotion. In soul retrieval, we attune to this part together, where the soul part is located, noticing what remains unresolved and supporting it to complete what it couldn’t at the time. As the part feels safe, understood, and met, it can naturally reintegrate back into your body, restoring clarity, energy, presence and wholeness.
Womb Healing & Creating Through the Womb
The womb is the centre of creation, intuition, and feminine power. We hold memories, patterns, and creative potential here.
Through womb healing, I support you to:
- Resolve stuck emotions and beliefs
- Release inherited patterns
- Reconnect with your creative centre
- Restore your feminine intuition
- Reclaim the part of you that creates from truth rather than survival
When your womb is energetically clear, women often feel:
- More grounded
- More intuitive
- More connected to their inner voice
- More able to create from alignment rather than fear
I guide you to build connection with your womb's voice, listen to what she has to say, and journey within this space to sense what needs to be resolved — whether emotional, ancestral, or collective (such as the witch wound, mother wound, or oppression).
If you would like a dedicated womb‑healing session, this is offered separately.
Energy and Shamanic Healing
Energy and Shamanic healing is an ancient holistic practice taking into consideration all aspects of you, emotional, mental, spiritual and physical, your environment and ancestors/family. This allows us to understand what is affecting you at a deeper core level and often supports more profound, quicker transformation.
I have fine tuned my abilities through my own shamanic initiation. This is not a modality I trained in, it is a natural capacity that emerged through years of deep healing, spiritual descent, and direct guidance.
During a session, I often intuitively sense where energy or shamanic healing would be beneficial and with your permission this is woven into sessions when needed. You can find more in‑depth information below.
-
Energetic Clearing:
Releasing energies or projections that do not belong to you. These can influence your emotions, beliefs, and how you experience life, including your physical and mental wellbeing, relationships, studies, or finances. For example, if there is a projection such as “I’m not good enough”,
It can feel like the thought is yours. In truth, it may not belong to you at all. Returning these projections to where they came from creates space for clarity and genuine change. -
Releasing cords:
Energetic cords can form through relationships and general interactions with others, intense experiences, or unresolved dynamics. They often drain energy or keep you emotionally tied to the past. When cords dissolve, people often feel, lighter, clearer, more in their own energy and able to move forward and be more aligned to their true path.
-
Contracts / Curse Clearing:
We often unknowingly may be carrying unresolved vows, promises, inherited curses or agreements that act as energetic contracts from this timeline or another timeline which is affecting the current life. Clearing them dissolves what is not yours and restores alignment with your current life so you can move forward with greater flow and ease.
-
Entity Release:
Entities are energies that we pick up in our day to day life in our energy field that are not part of you. These often cause disruptions and feel like something is “off”, like you are just quite not yourself. You may also notice feeling stuck no matter what you do.
-
Ancestral Healing:
Often, when we are carrying ancestral beliefs, emotions or patterns, it can feel like no matter how much inner work you do, the pattern doesn’t shift or change. Clearing these inherited patterns, emotions or beliefs brings resolution to what you may be carrying on behalf of your ancestors, allowing you and your ancestors to move with more clarity and freedom.
-
Land & Property Energy Healing:
Homes and land hold memory and emotional imprints. I attune to the energy of your home or land to understand how it may be affecting you emotionally, physically, or financially, and support restoring harmony to the space. For example, if a home carries sadness or a history of financial struggle, you may feel heavy in certain rooms, unsettled, or suddenly worried about money without knowing why.
-
Strengthening Your Energy Field:
oftentimes when we have gone through trauma or anything unresolved it creates openings in our energy field. I support you by sealing any open energy fields within you so you feel more grounded, sovereign, and clear.
