When you think about money, what happens in your body? Do you feel light and expansive, or tight and contracted? What beliefs come up? Do you think “I have more than enough” or “I’m supported, money will come when I need it”?
Or do you believe “I have to work hard for it,” fear money will leave, or worry there won’t be enough?
Notice what happens in your body as you think and feel into money. Where do you feel it in your body?
Your body responds to money no differently than it does to any other unresolved wound or pattern.
It holds money and abundance imprints — some from your own lived experiences, and some inherited through family or early childhood. These imprints create patterns in your nervous system like “I don’t have enough,” “I must save everything,” or fears of losing money.
Most of these patterns begin early. How did your parents relate to money?
as a child, you may have absorbed their fears, beliefs, and sense of worth around money without realising it.
When I began my own healing — especially ancestral healing— I noticed a deep pattern around money, respect, and worth. I noticed a pattern where money was tied to respect, status and success. This traced back to my grandfather’s time, where his path involved healing poverty within the family.
I felt this within me as feeling of being worthy only when I had money, and a strong fear of lack — fear of losing it, or never having enough. My body held this, and when I felt lack or that I needed to have a certain amount in my savings, my body tightened.
Your experience will be unique to you, but the wisdom in your body never lies.
Simply think about money and notice what happens inside you. That sensation is your doorway — the beginning of the unraveling.
By following your inner process, you begin to heal what needs to be healed with money so you can have a healthier relationship with money and with yourself.
You can heal your relationship with money. You can shift from embodying lack to embodying abundance.
